RESERVED DECISIONS GIVEN Reserved decisions announced by the No. 2 Armed Forces Appeal Board on Saturday were as follows:—S. R. Carleton. warehouse manager (Weston Bros, and Company, Ltd.), appeal allowed on class 3 medical grading; T. F. K. Whittle, clicker (Suckling Bros., Ltd.), full-time service in Auxiliary Fire Service postponed sine die; F. A. Roberts, shearer (Director of National Service), release from Army recommended; John Kerr, engineer (Sinclair, Melbourne and Company, Ltd.), release from Army recommended; A. W. Elliotte, Invercargill, three weeks’ leave for domestic reasons recommended: C. J. Brown, carpenter (Paynter and Hamilton), dismissed; Leslie R. E. Alexander, electro-plater and polisher (W. T. Murray and Company), an amended decision that service be postponed until November 30; Clifton T. Blank, farmer (W. H. H. Blank), dismissed; C. P. S Riddell, medical practitioner (Kaiapoi Borough Council), adjourned sine die; H. L. Beardseley, Journeyman finisher (Suckling Bros., Ltd.), release from Army and transfer to Home Guard recommended; E. C. W. Doherty, railway workshops employee (Director of National Service), adjourned sine die; D. A. Streeter, poultry farm-hand (appeal by father), dismissed; E. C. Parrott, V.’ Smith. R. C. Kierman, and D. Bunting (Andersens, Ltd., engineers), release recommended: F. B. Snowden, Post and Telegraph employee (Director of National Service), adjourned sine die, reservist to continue in Post and Telegraph section of the Lines of Communication: George J. Bright, fibrolite roofer (Martin and Ormandy), dismissed.
