ERECTION OF T.B. HOSPITAL
MINISTER TO RECEIVE DEPUTATION A telegram has been received by the Acting-Mayor of Timaru (Mr P. B, Foote) from the Minister of Health (the Hon. A. H. Nordmeyer), in reply to representations made this week, asking, the Minister to visit Timaru for a discussion of matters - concerning the erection of a new tuberculosis hospital in Otipua road, Timaru. ; Mr Nordmeyer r s reply read as foliows:—"Hope to visit Timaru on morning of Saturday, September 19, and will be" pleased to receive deputation re-, garding proposed new tuberculosis block.” Arrangements .will be; made fora representative deputation to wait _on the Minister to lodge a protect Against the erection of the hew - hospitals for the South Canterbury Hospital Board.
