S.C.H.—By the Agricultural Workers’ Extension Order, 1942, the following minimum wages were payable to agncultural workers from August l> iv*** For workers under 17 years of ago £1 2s; from 17 to « % . from 18 to 19 years. £1 16s. from 19 to 20 years, £2 3s 6d; from 20 to 21 years, £2 10s 6d; and for workers 21 years of age ami. "lore, £2 17s 6d, are the weekly wages. For casual workers the following rates apply. Harvesters, 2s 3d an hourwith rations: other workers. Is Ud an hour or 15s 4d a day (found) and 2s 3d an hour or 18s a day (not f ou "“ ’ youths up to 18 years. Is 3d an hour or 10s a day (found), and Is 6d an hour or 12s a day (not found).
