It is therefore now illegal for any person;, subject however to any directions general or special given by the Committee, to carry any goods by motor vehicles for hire or reward, within the Christchurch Goods Transport Control District, without the permission of ■ the Committee. The Committee has decided and directed that for the present all persons affected by the above regulations be permitted to carry on operations as heretofor. The permission hereby notified may be withdrawn at any time, either wholly or in part, but public notice will be given in the Press.
