THE Education Board of the District of Canterbury hereby notifies, In pursuance of -powers conferred' by the Education Act, 1914, that it has resolved to amend the boundaries of the school district of New Brighton, and from and after the 7th September, 1842, the boundaries of the said district shall be as follows: — ‘‘Commencing on the northern bank of the Avon river at a point opposite the intersection of Baker street and River road; thence in a south-westerly direction across the Avon river to the northernmost corner of Section 1622; thence southerly along the western boundary of Section 1622; easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 1622 and 1692 and continuing in a straight line therewith to Bexley road: thence southerly along Bexley road and Palmer's road to the southernmost corner of Section 7506; thence easterly in a straight line approximately 90 degrees to Palmer’s road through both branches of the River Avon and Rat Island to the eastern bank of the River Avon Estuary; thence southerly along the eastern bank of the Estuary, past the Pleasant Point Domain and continuing to the river mouth and following the boundary of Reserve 224 to the Pacific Coast; thence in a northerly direction along the Pacific Coast to a point opposite Rawhiti avenue; ’thence westerly along Rawhiti avenue and, continuing in a straight line to the corner of Sinclair street; thence along Sinclair street to Baker street; thence southerly along Baker street to the commencing point.” 6205 COMPARE THESE PRICES.
