CORONER'S VERDICTS
* A verdict that death was due to asphixiation, probably because of smothering, was returned by the Coroner (Mr E. C. Levvey) in the inquest on Friday into the death on January 23 of a child aged about three months, Kenneth Wayne ChelcrofL The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence that Walter Herbert Fagan, aged 49 years, died of heart failure due to myocarditis and arterial degeneration.
