New Brighton Red Cross Society.— A special meeting of the New Brighton sub-branch of the Red Cross Society was held at the residence of Mrs W. T, Glasgow yesterday afternoon to consider plans for the society’s work in New Brighton in the event of any enemy attack. Mrs J. N, Clarke presided.' It was decided to call a meeting of all women's organisations in New Brighton to organise a campaign to visit every house in the district to ascertain the needs in case of emergency.
