NEW SUBURBAN SCHOOL AT KAIKOURA

Mr D. J. Boyd, chairman of the Kaikoura Suburban School Committee, presided at a district meeting held to make arrangements for the opening ceremony of the new open-air school and residence which have been constructed in place of the previous buildings which were built more than 60 years ago. Mr R. P. McLaughlin is the secretary of the committee formed. It was decided to hold a children’s sports meeting on the day of the ceremony. Mr E. P. Meachen, M.P. for the district, and members of the Canterbury Education Board will be invited to attend.
