FUNERAL SERVICE

— MR P. H. BROWN A funeral service for Mr P, H. Brown, who died on Tuesday morning, was conducted at the Bromley Crematorium yesterday by Archdeacon A. J. Petrie. The principal mourners were Mrs Brown and Nigel Brown, and the pall-bearers were Messrs Herbert Hill, John Ramsden, J. S. Connell, Watson Dawson. A. Nicholls, and G. Gray. Wreaths were received from the following:—Elsie and Nigel. Mother and Agnes, Edith, Charles, and family, Sir Frederick Ayktoyd, Andreae and Cotripany, Wool Scourers’ Association, staff of Dalgety and Company, Christchurch, Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Auckland, management and staff of New Zealand Shipping Company, directors and staff of Kinsey and Company, New Zealand Woolbuyers’ Association, H. Matson and Company, Williams and Kettle, Nabief, New Zealand Woolbrdkers’ Association, Christchurch Golf Club, and a large number of personal tributes.
