3ZB FEATURES
Sir, —What was the cause of 3ZB last night putting the part of two serials over the air that had been over on a previous occasion? The two serials were “The House of Peter McGregor” and the “Spy Exchange.”—Yours, etc., FED UP. November 21, 1941. [The station director (Mr H. Bell) says: “Owing to the exceptional popularity of ‘The House of Peter MacGregor’ when it was played in the morning session, and in response to popular demand, the complete series of episodes is being replayed in the evening sessions, to reach listeners who were unable to hear the feature during the daytime. As episodes of ‘Spy Exchange’ are dispatched from the station immediately the feature is played, it is impossible for a particular episode to be repeated. We can only suggest that your correspondent heard the episode in question from one or other of the ZB stations before the date of playing at 3ZB.”]
