BRITISH TANKS FOR RUSSIA
PRODUCTION BREAKS ALL RECORDS LONDON. September 24. On the third day of Britain’s ‘Tanks for Russia Week,” production is smashing all records. Hundreds and hundreds of tanks are being assembled in a ceaseless flow. Women are giving great help. One factory has adopted the slogan, “All possible help for Russia until the job is finished.” . Expressing warm approval of Britain’s “Tanks for Russia Week,” the Soviet spokesman, M. Lozovsky, at a press conference in Moscow, said: It is not only of military and economic importance. It is of great political significance, showing the solidarity between the two countries and the cooperation on which a joint victory must rest.” 100 per cent.
