GOOD WHEAT YIELDS EXPECTED
After a series of severe .frosts the last few days of warm weather have been welcome to-farmers in the Rangiora district. .Crops sown shortly before the wintry weather set in, are taking much longer to come through than those sown early, in the season, when the ground was warmer. Generally, the district is looking well, and given seasonable weather from now on, the wheat yields throughout the North Canterbury area are expected to be very satisfactory. ,
