(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 23. The following Air Force casualties were announced to-day:— Sergeant Kevin Desmond Cox, .R.N.Z.A.F., killed in flying accident. Mother, Mrs C. A. Cox, Hamilton. Pilot Officer John Mcßeath Kerr, R.N.Z.A.F., missing on air operations. Father, Mr E. G. Kerr, Timaru. Sergeant Charles Henry Kilpatrick, R.A.F., injured in "flying accident. Father, Mr W. Kilpatrick, New South* Wales. Sergeant Evan Bruch Beattie, R.A.F., missing, believed killed in flying . accident. Father, Mr R. B. Beattie, Nelson. Sergeant Frederick George Hindrup, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified killed in action. Mother, Mrs H. C. Eyles, Napier. Sergeant lan Overheu, D.F.M., '■ R.N.Z.A.F., missing, believed killed on operations. Wife, Mrs J. Over- . heu, Northamptonshire. Pilot Officer Thomas William McClure Leckie, R.N.Z.A.F., slightly injured in aircraft accident. Mother, Mrs F. M. Leckie, Wellington. Pilot Officer Sydney Campbell Parkes, Royal New Zealand Air Force, • missing on air operations. Mother, Mrs S. A. Parkes, 37 Denbigh , street, Feilding. SERGEANT PILOT .POTTER Sergeant Pilot Allan F. Potter, a son of Mr and Mrs F. Potter, of Merivale, who was reported missing after air operations last week, was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High School and at Canterbury University College. Sergeant Pilot Potter commenced training as a pilot at Levin in June, 1940, and passed out from Wigram the following December. He was a member of the committee of the Canterbury Aero Club. His wife was formerly Miss Mavis O’Brien, of Eversleigh street, St. Albans, Christchurch.
