SIR CYRIL NEWALL TAKES SALUTE i

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 21.

Keen public interest was manifested In the parade of 2200 troops now in Trentham Camp when they assembled at the railway station this morning and marched through the city. The streets were thickly lined with people. The parade took a quarter of an hour to pass the saluting base where the salute was taken by the GovernorGeneral (Sir Cyril Newell). With him were the Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) and other members of the Cabinet; The weather was fine but overcast.
