East Christchurch .Home Guard. — There was a good attendance at the parade of the East Christchurch Home Guard on Thqrsday evening. Instruction was given in section leading, rifle exercises,, signalling, and ambulance, and was followed by a route march. All members were urged to attend the all-day parade arranged for next Sunday. when, in co-operation with the Shirley unit, tactical exercises will be carried out. _ i
