BLACK-OUT
Sir,- 1 -In reference H;o these terrible lights, as .One who fought in the last war, I would like to add my protest to those of and "Home Guard:" Unfortunately, I am compelled to spend a good many hours of the 24 close to one of these lights, and as. I gave my services to by country from 1914 to r 1918 I have not the slightest wish to have my head blown off without being [ able to strike a blow in return. Why should even one soldier (for a soldier I still am) have his life endangered because of the thoughtlessness of somebody who has not sense enough to ■;■■• know what an invitation he is giving to the enemy to shell our town. It is quite time the Government took a hand and ordered this menace to be removed.—Yours, etc..
