CASUALTIES IN AIR FORCE

TWO NEW ZEALAND PILOTS MISSING (MESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, February 25. The following casualties were reported tc-night:— Pilot Officer Anthony Vincent Muir, missing on air operations. His father is Mr J. Muir, Security Buildings, Te Awamutu. Pilot Officer Muir was born at Wanganui and educated at Sacred Heart College, Auckland, and Victoria University College. Pilot Officer Arthur James Falconer, missing on air operations. His father is Mr W. M. Falconer, Wanganui. Pilot Officer Falconer was born at New Plymouth and educated at Wanganui Technical College. He was a member of the Civil Reserve of Pilots in 1939, and left New Zealand as a pilot officer in 1940.
