PETROL PUMP FEES
REDUCTION ANNOUNCED ' t Regulations have been issued to become effective on April 1 reducing tn . fees paid by petrol resellers under tne Industrial Efficiency Act, the Minister for Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) announced*last night. ' ' “Some time ago,” Mr Sullivan sam,; “super grade was eliminated from tne market, and as the petrol restrictions, have greatly affected the business oi resellers, there are many idle pumps throughout the country. Owing to consideration of defence, it is necessary, to keep these pumps in operation, ana the present scale of £1 a pump na» been altered to £1 for the first and £2 for two pumps or more. Tms should help those resellers whose establishments carry a large number, of pumps which were needed previously to service many brands ana grades of petrol.” ;
