The weather forecast for Canterbury. issued at 5 p.m. by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows; Moderate to fresh north-westerly winds. Weather fair and warm; seas slight. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast is: Moderate to fresh winds from a westerly quarter. Weather unsettled with rain developing from the south. Temperatures mild; seas moderate, but with a considerable swell. , DOMINION • The Dominion forecast is;— 1 Fine east of the main ranges of the North Island; elsewhere, fair to cloudy at first, but rain dcvelop- | ing during the day in Westland and extending after 24 hours to Southj land and Otago.
