The Health Department, in conjunction with the Department of Internal Affairs, has issued a pamphlet on artificial respiration, giving instructions on methods that should be applied. “In war time," it is stated, “artificial respiration plays an important part. Air raids or bombardments call for a knowledge of artificial respiration.” The pamphlet concludes with a warning to children) about the dangers of electric shocks.
