[From Our Own Reporter.] TIMARU. December If). At a silting of the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday, before Mr H, Morgan, S.M., Adam Horne, billiards room proprietor, aged 57, pleaded guilty toa charge of bookmakiug. He was lined £2O and was allowed two months to pay the fine. Detective-Sergeant Thomas said that Horne was only in a small way of business as an agent. When arrested he had in his possession one double chart.
