At the December meeting of the local committee of the Sir Arthur Pearson Memorial for the Blind, three applications for relief were received and dealt with. A donation of £5 was gratefully received from Miss M. A. Adams and a donation of £2 2s from the Hyman Marks Trust (per Mr G. L. Donaldson) to provide Christmas cheer for the blind of Christchurch.
