INTOXICATED DRIVER SENTENCED (PRESS - ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 20. Fcpnd intoxicated in charge of a car while under disqualification for a similar offence last year, Arthur Farmery, aged 45, a hotel worker, was sentenced to a month’s gaol with hard labour. His licence was cancelled for three years. While already under observation, the car was seen by a constable to strike a pole in the street. Farmery was found to be in an advanced state of intoxication.
