It is provided: that for such installations now in existence, it shall be a sufficient compliance Of the by-law if the permit is secured one month after its coming into operation. The by-law states: “And the council may refuse to issue such permit where, in its opinion, such installation or use is likely to create uphealthy, unhygienic, or otherwise injurious living conditions. If such permit is issued by the council, it may be issued subject to such conditions or restrictions as the council considers necessary in the interests-of health dr hygiene.” Garage.
