SCHOOL COMMITTEE'S DANCE
To raise funds for school purposes, the Broadfield School Committee arranged a dance which was held in the Public Hall, Prebbleton. The evening's programme was directed by Mr R. Wheeler and dance music was supplied by Kinsman's Band. Mr G. Rutherford played extras. A novelty dance was won by Miss- Renee Gallagher and'partner. In the card room, where Mr G. Simpson was in charge, prize-winners were Mrs W. Kolkman and Mr W. Downey, Miss L. Giles, and Mr J. James.
