"DON'T KNOW WAR IS ON"
"Out here we don’t know that the war is on at all. Many people do not give it a, thought. But you have its meaning brought home to you very deeply through the enlistment of some of your best-known and best-liked masters and old boys,” said Mr A. E. Flower (chairman of the Canterbury College Council), in his address at the Boys’ High School yesterday afternoon. . The speaker said that the school had sent men into every avenue of national life and service, and in the country's need its- old boys would be found ready to help. .
