NEW RECORD SPEED FOR STANDARD MODEL CARS
(bbitish official wireless.) RUGBY, July 18. The highest speed ever attained at Brooklahds by a standard closed car was achieved by Captain G. E. T. Eyston, the famous British racing motorist, in a streamlined Bentley, which he drove at 114.62 miles an hour. ■ '
