AMENDMENTS TO ACTS PROPOSED
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND BURMA

LONDON, April 15.
A White Paper contains proposed amendments to the Government of India and Government of Burma Acts.
The amendments provide that in the event of India being threatened by war the Viceroy will assume over-riding authority over provincial Governors and Governments.
