OAMARU WOMEN’S RELIEF
MEETING OF COMMITTEE The Oamaru Women's Relief Committee met recently. In the absence of the Mayoress (Mrs L. J. K. Familton), Mrs Smith Morton presided. Accounts amounting to £34 2s were passed for payment. The secretary (Mrs Fox) reported that grocery parcels had been distributed to large families during the Christmas season, the total expenditure amounting to £Bl. Milk had been supplied to a number of families and in some cases, coal.
