GOOD FISHING SEASON

GBOPEB PLENTIFUL IN SEA AT OAMABU Sea fishing at Oamaru up till the , few days has bean most satisfactory this season, a representative of "The Press” was told yesterday when be interviewed a well-known fisherman. Groper had been very plentiful and the weather good. The last few days, with the colder and rougher weather, had adversely affected catches. The prices during the summer had been very good, though there had been a slight drop on the local market lately. Blue cod fishing does not start seriously until a little later, generally after Easter. This fish is not a good Bummer fish, and is much more easily obtained in the colder weather.
