JUNIOR CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT RESULTS OF YESTERDAY'S PLAY Playing yesterday in the semi-finals of the championship doubles at the Canterbury Croquet Association’s junior tournament, Mesdames Martyn and Rhodes (Amberley) beat Mesdames James and Richie (United). The other semi-finalists are Mesdames Syme and Jones (St. James’ Park), and Mesdames Oldfield and Ward (Hornby). Results of yesterday’s play are as follows: A Championship—Second round: Mrs Wootton beat Mrs E. Smith, 26-20; Mrs Warren beat Mrs Syme; 11. Ford beat Mrs Weavers. 26-G; Mrs Marriott - beat Mrs Bonar, 28-12. Third round: Mrs Long beat Mrs Oldfield, 26-25; Mrs McTeague beat Mrs Middleton, 26^15. Championship Doubles—Third round: Mesdames Oldfield and Ward beat Mesdame Middleton and Cockroft, 26-19; Mesdames Martyn and Rhodes beat Mesdames Kaigh and Jarden, 26-21; Mesdames James and Ritchie beat Mesdame Hessey and O'Malley, 26-16. Semi-final: Mesdames Martyn and Rhodes beat Mesdames James and Ritchie, 26-17.
