TITLE FOR SOVIET WORKERS
STIMULATING OUTPUT BY PRIVILEGES

MOSCOW, December 29
In an attempt to stimulate industrial output the Government has created the title of “Hero of Soviet Labour,” which will rank with that of “Hero of the Soviet Union.” The new award entitles the holder to a stipend, ptewivuns, housing, and a motor-car. It is intended to create a “super group” of privileged workers.
