BY-ELECTION NECESSARY IN BRITAIN
(BBTTISH OFFICIAL WTBIX.ESS-) RUGBY, December 23. A by-election in the Ripon Division of Yorkshire will be made necessary by the death at the age of 71 of Major J. W. Wills (Conservative), a former Financial Secretary to the Treasury. . , At the last General Election Major Wills held the seat with 30,804 votes to 9116 votes for the Labour candidate.
