The special representative of the “Sun” at Canberra reports that a huge scheme of national co-ordina-tion for defence is being prepared by the Commonwea' l h * and State Governments, involving heavy expenditure on railways, roads, airports, and harbours, intensified migration, and a survey of manpower. ’ A conference of State Premiers on these questions will be held at Canberra next week-end.
