CONCERT AT DORIE

The members of the Rakaia Presbyterian Bible Class recently presented a successful concert. There was a large and enthusiastic audience. The proceeds of the concert will go to the mission funds of the Presbyterian Church.

The following is the programme:— Play, “The Fire-fighters,” Miss G. Lee, Messrs L. Burrowes and S. Wilson; impersonations, Miss M. Ashford; play, Messrs N. Shannon and W. Ashford; vocal duet. Misses M. and G. Lee; recitation, Mr S. Wilson; instrumental item, Mr J. Crozier; the mystery man, Mr W. Ashford; song in character, Miss G. Lee; play, “The Poison Party,” Misses M. Lee, M. Ashford, Messrs W. Ashford, M. Hopkins, N. Shannon, and S. Wilson; instrumental duo, Messrs L. Burrowes and J. Crozier; staging cowboys, the company.
