The Minister for Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) returned to Wellington by the steamer express last night. During the day Mr Sullivan fulfilled several public engagements in the city, including visits to the New Zealand Industries Fair and to the community singing session. The Minister for Mines (the Hon. P. C. Webb) arrived in Christchurch from Wellington yesterday morning and addressed a meeting at Prebbleton last evening. The Hon E. R. Davis, M.L.C., was a passenger from the North Island by yesterday mornings steamer express.
