♦ British Development Reported BLOCKED CURRENCIES IN GERMANY AND ITALY (unitkd rnr.sß AssocuTinir corTurcstrT.) (Received July 28. 8 p.m.) LONDON. July 27. The British Government is moving towards the development of with the Balkans through a series of treaties. The Balkan States find difficulty in selling to Germany and Italy because they receive only blocked currencies. They are anxious to expand their trade with Britain, where a free Currency is operative, and there is also capital available It is emphasised that the negotiations are difficult in view of the 'liffering conditions in each Balkan country. _________________
