RUGBY LEAGUE
EXCHANGE OF VISITS URGED
AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND TEAMS (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, July 5. A plea for the yearly interchange of visits of Rugby League football teams between New South Wales and New Zealand was made to the general committee of the New South Wales League by Mr J. A. Redwood, the manager of the New Zealand team. Mr Redwood said that the present tour had been - of great experience, but the .value of that experience would be
lost if there , were long periods between the visits. Mr Flegg, president o*' the New South Wales League, replying, said that the League was anxious for the time to come when it could invite a New Zealand team over every year and even send a team to New Zealand . every year also.
