COMMUNITY SINGING
More than £l5O has been collected for the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund from community singing in the Civic Theatre this season. The third fixture was held yesterday, with Messrs J. Maybury and E. Hegan as leaders and Mr N. Carson as pianist, the proceeds being £42 5s 6d. Last week £65 was collected and the previous fixture, the first of the season, produced £48.,
