SENTENCED TO ELECTRIC CHAIR

U.S. KIDNAPPING CASE

MIAMI, June 16. Franklin Pierce McCall, aged 21, was sentenced to the electric chair for kidnapping the five-year-old boy Jimmy Cash. It is 19 days since the kidnapping occurred, and this is one of the quickest applications of justice in the history of the United States.

The boy was kidnapped from his home at Princeton, and his body was discovered two days later in dense underbrush half a mile from the town.
