FILM-HIRING CONTRACTS
APPOINTMENT OF ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PBBSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 16. The appointment of the following to be members of the Advisory Committee under the Cinematograph Films Act has been gazetted:—Messrs W. F. Stilwell, S.M. (chairman), S. H. Craig, R. McG. Stewart (representing licensed renters), E. J. Righton, J. Robertson (representing licensed exhibitors), R. M. G. Butcher (chief inspector under the act), and F. Johnson (Assistant Secretary to the Department of Industries and Commerce). The committee will advise the Minister for Internal Affairs as to what amendments l!o the standard form of a film-hiring contract are necessary or desirable.
