+ KAIAPOI LADIES* CLUB A stroke handicap match was played at the Kaiapoi golf course on Tuesday afternoon by the Women's club. The following were the best cards returned:— A Grade—Mrs J, Johnston, 100. 21—79; Mrs E. J. Corcoran, 100. 19—81; Mrs G. Hirst, 110, 28—82; Mrs N. W. Robertson, 112, 29—83; Miss M. Stark, 108, 24—84; Mrs E. E. Eves. 99, 14—85; Mrs A. W. JLertbead, 107, '22—85. The B grade was won by Mrs E. J. McCurdy with a score of 114, 36—78. CHRISTCHURCH LADIES’ CLUB In the bogey match held at Shirley golf links yesterday. Misses Buchanan. Chrystall. and Loughnan tied in the silver medal division and Mrs W. A. C. McDonald won in the bronze medal division. In the silver medal division. Miss H, Loughnan and Mrs Butcher tied in an eclectic match for a prize presented by Miss H. Buchanan, Mrs W. A. C. McDonald won Miss Buchanan’s prize in the bronze medal division. . The scores were:— Silver Medal Division—Miss H. Buchanan, 6 down; Miss D. Chrystall, 6 down; Miss H. Loughnan, 6 down; and Mrs £. J. Humphrey, 7 down. Bronze ‘Medal Division—Mrs W. A. C. McDonald, 3 down; Mrs A. Boon, 6 down; Mrs H. H. Wauchop, 7 down; and Mrs S. Bowron, y down.
