GANZON TO MEET DUNN BOUT IN CITY NEXT SATURDAY The Christchurch boxing enthusiasts who enjoyed seeing in action Dominic the brilliant Filipino champion, will appreciate the opportunity given them next Saturday night of seeing him meet again Henry Dunn, who beat him last week in Wellington. The Wellington match was described as one of the cleverest boxing exhibitions ever seen in that city, and Ganzon as the fastest man ever seen there. Christchurch people have their own opinion of Ganzon’s merits, and his attempt to avenge his defeat by Dunn, one of this country s most promising young professionals, should prove one of the biggest boxing draws for years. The l;out will be over 10 three-minute rounds. A second professional match on the same programme at the King Edward Barracks will be between Tiger Mitchell, of Christchurch and Vic Greaney. over eight rounds of three minutes, and as a special treat, Norman Fisher, New Zealand’s Olympic representative, will meet Tommy Dunn, the light-weight champion of Wellington Province, over six two-minute rounds. . . , The night’s boxing will begin at 7.30 o’clock. griffen beats craib (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) It was a battle between a boxer and a fighter, and the boxer won.
