PRESENTATION
At a pleasant > Informal gathering held in the pavilion members of the Beckenham Ladies’ Bowling Club presented Mr W. Pearce, retiring greenkeeper, with a travelling rug in appreciation of help cheerfully given by him to the ladies' club. Mrs Fuller, president of the club, in making the presentation, thanked Mr Pearce for his unfailing kindness. Mr Pearce, in returning thanks for the gift, said he had been pleased to help the ladies’ club.
