ROMAN CATHOLIC CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS
TO THB EDITOR OF THB PRESS. Sir,—Several letters have been printed lately in criticism of the above celebrations. I am writing in the spirit of live and let live. Those who object to the publicity of the celebrations do not need to see them. We are far too critical of- others. Objections are talked about and resolutions are passed about those who go to picnics on Sundays. The objectors do not have to attend these. Now objections are made against a Christian sect bringing part of its ceremony into the opeij. Those who do not approve can quite easily keep away. A little tolerance goes a long way towards general happiness.—Yours, etc., PRESBYTERIAN. March 19. 1938. [Subject to the right of reply of 'G. F. Seward, this correspondence is now closed. —Ed.. “The Press.”]
