SOCIAL AT PREBBLETON

A successful effort to augment their school funds was made by the Broadfield School Committee, when they arranged a social in the Prebbleton Hall. Many town and country visitors enjoyed cards and dancing. Music was supplied by Les. Kinsman's Band, with extras played by Miss Stella Dow. Novelty dances were won by Miss Streeter and partner. Miss R. Gallagher and Mr W. Millar. Winners of prizes for card competitions were Mesdames T. Harding and C. Hands, Messrs H. Moff and Feutz. Messrs R. Wheeler and J.
