SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARY
UNIVERSITY AWARDS The following scholarships and bursary have been awarded by the Canterbury University College Council: — Lissie Rathbone Scholarship: Brenda M. Blackburn (Christchurch Girls’ High School). This scholarship is of the annual value of not less than £SO, and is tenable for three years. It is awarded on the subjects, English and history in the University Entrance examination
Robert Bell Scholarship: Jean Norrie (Christchurch Girls’ High School). This scholarship is of the annual value of £SO, and is tenable for three years. It is awarded on the entrance examination, and is for students intending to take a course in journalism. Helen Macmillan Brown Bursary: Catherine A. Ledger (Nelson Girls’ College). The bursary is of an annual value of £3O, and is available only to women students. It is tenable for three years.
