DRAW AND UMPIRES FOR SATURDAY The following is the draw, with the umpires, for matches in the Ashburton County Cricket Association’s competitions to be played on Saturday:— Senior Grade—Kia Ora v. Techhical. at Technical (Messrs E. L. Kerr and G. A. Wall); Ashburton v. Public Works Irrigation, at Winchmore (Messrs R. A. Johnstone and W. Barrett); Old Boys v. Fairfield, on the oval (Messrs C. Butterworth and C. V. McNicol). Junior Grade —Tinwald v. Methven, at Tinwald (Messrs C. Frew and S. McElhinney); Public Works Irrigation v. Coldstream, at Fairfield (win for Public Works Irrigation by default); Technical v. Old Boys, at Old Boys (Messrs A. E. Harvey and G. V. Furby) ; Kia Ora v. Lauriston, at Kia Ora (Messrs J. Price, and D. McDougall).
