MISSING BOMBER

SEARCH IN RUGGED COUNTRY

LONDON, February 27.

The search for the missing Vic-kers-Wellesley bomber, which, the Air Ministry announced had been abandoned, has, been resumed after a report that wreckage had been seen in the Cheviots, near Langholm, Dumfriesshire.

Air Force aeroplanes scoured "he hills all day along the border for the missing bombcx. A ground search was also fruitlc-s.

A pilot participating in the searcn said that the country was so rugged that a whole squadron of burnt-out aeroplanes might be on the ground and yet be invisible from the air.
