AEROPLANE MISSING IN BRITAIN

LONDON, February 24. The Vickers-Wellesley aeroplane which has been practising for a long-distance record flight to Australia is missing. The personnel comprises an Australian, ££&**■ Lieutenant Gardner, Flying Officer G J. Thomson, and Sergeant HickSL The aeroplane was last seen off Rothbury, Northumberland. Aeroplanes from seven Royal Asx . Force stations took up the search. for the missing machine at aj^" 3 . concentrating on the area from Northumberland to Aberdeenshire, and along the coast.
